Ermine in the snow

This was a completely serendipitous project! On my way home from shopping, this little weasel suddenly appeared. A long-held dream came true – a stoat in the snow. I spent the rest of the day and the days that followed observing and searching for this beautiful creature again. Long focal lengths and exceptionally fast reflexes are definitely an advantage when photographing stoats. Because, as they say: quick as a weasel!
